Some extra information:

The SP range has been extended to provide focused products for all gun types and styles, extensive testing has created a new range of low profile SPs and developed a new colour.

The SP Low provides a dedicated product for Gun up shooters and Gun down shooters of single barrel guns and Side by Side guns where the higher profile of the Std SP isn’t needed.

The lower profile works perfectly to create a unique picture discreetly for the eye over the rib. The fact the barrels are in contrast to the shape means the profile can be reduced, while the longer base surface ensures maximum bonding performance in the more exposed positions.

The Sport specification introduces a further enhancement with the blue colour being introduced to the range. The blue has all the performance of the black plus the improved visibility in darker backgrounds while the blue is seen as a silhouette in the blue sky like the black SPs.

The SPs act as a switch once seen in the peripheral vision it’s working, the size and colour will be a personal choice with some opting for the pairing of the  Std and Low to cover all eventualities.

The black is a subtle option in both formats for the field and the clay grounds with it being nearly invisible to everyone except the person handling the gun, the blue is a little less subtle as it contrasts with the barrels like it contrasts with the backgrounds but will prove popular with those looking to gain the ultimate advantage.
New replacement tapes have been introduced for the SP Low ensuring it’s a sound investment going forward as it can be moved to any replacement guns.

Frequently asked questions

Black is the most discreet and ideal for all round use and field sports. If you mainly shoot in heavily wooded backgrounds then you may find the Sports Spec better as the blue is obvious in all backgrounds

If you shoot Gun down the Std size is best suited for O/U between the barrels

The low SPs work really well on these guns as there is no depth to the profile of the gun, place the Low SP around the bottom half of the barrel (subject to the Handedness of the shooter)

The Std SP would be best, while just avoiding long "holds" for the gun up targets, alternatively some shooters use a Std to cover the Gun down hold and a Low SP for the Gun up shots - both are discreet and do not effective the impact of each product

If the shot is developed with the gun mounted the gun up SPs in the high position should be used.

No - The blue becomes a silhoutte when used in the brighter backgrounds so looks like the black SP while showing blue in the dark backgrounds

Yes this is a personal choice, the combinations work equally well, it all depends where you most want help and how discreet you want to be, Blue and Blue will cover all situations but is obvious on the gun - pick your combination and get shooting.

There are replacement tape kits for both types of SPs with all you need to move on your current gun or swop to a new gun.
